Supermarket Fashion: Bread, Milk and Clothes

When I first moved from Los Angeles to London in 2001, there were so many novel experiences that greeted me in England! One of these was the amazing discovery  that many major supermarkets had huge clothing sections and sold a wide variety of clothes. This is was a concept that I had never encountered before and I was instantly hooked! Suddenly, I didn’t mind doing grocery shopping – I was happy to fill my trolley and then mosey on down to the clothes section and spend 15 minutes getting my fashion fix!  I discovered that the fashion offerings at supermarkets were varied, fashion-forward and great value for money. Now, I am definitely one of those people who will always make time for the clothing section at the supermarket.  I bought this yellow/ochre cardigan at Sainsbury’s; I loved the colour, the fringe and the length! It lifted my spirits on a rainy day and I left the store with a big smile on my face. I would love to hear your opinion on supermarket fashion!

  1. As a full time working mum, clothes shopping is a rare special occasion. So the supermarket cloths section is a necessity! They usually copy the high street dadi on and often do it bettet! I couldn’t survive without them now!!
