It’s been a while but all hunkered down and ready to post again. It’s Mother’s Day in the UK and even though my parents don’t live here - everyday is a great day to wish my mother happy Mother’s Day. This is an old picture of my mother that I absolutely love! I have always admired the gota border on this saree (it is a stunning multicolour work of art) - a few years ago I asked her if I could have the border and I took it off and put it on a yellow chiffon saree instead of the red as I was convinced that it would look better.
