Happy Halloween everyone! Halloween is a great time to get in the spirit of dressing up. Even if you don’t have the time, need or inclination to wear a full-fledged costume, it is still nice to make an effort to join in the fun. I do try and wear black and orange on Halloween and adding some face stickers is an easy way to add to the overall effect!
I have been wishing to buy a faux fur black jacket for a while now and have thoroughly researched what is available in the market at present (in my price range of course). Unsurprisingly, it is supermarket fashion to the rescue once again. This faux fur bomber looks fabulous and I am seriously impressed with the attention to detail in the design of the jacket. I have paired it with my UGG wedge boots which are stylish, practical and most importantly warm!
Have a fun-filled Halloween and a big thank you for reading.

It’s that momentous time of the year again – in the next few weeks (give or take a few days), those of us with children of school going age, will see our darlings returning to school. It’s high time really, family and friends have been visited, summer camps have been attended and copious amounts of sugary foods have been consumed. I can almost hear the computers at home begging for relief and I for one have exhausted my ability to answer any more complicated questions about how the universe works or why I can’t leave one sibling on the corner of the road somewhere! (yes that request has been made).
Children going back to school can often present the opportunity to meet new parents and the dilemma of ‘What do I wear to…?’ to meet new people straight after school drop off. I have always found that in reality my attention on a school morning is almost entirely focused on getting the children ready, leaving little time for me to worry about my styling choices. For those of us who are heading to work straight after, work clothes save the day. However, if you are not working or work from home, the dilemma of what to wear to school drop-off is a very real one! In a busy morning situation, I find that comfort is key and my go to clothes are almost always a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. Adding a nice pair of flats and a low-key statement piece such as a nice jacket can elevate that simple look to a more polished one.
In this instance, I have added this adorable embroidered linen bomber jacket to my t-shirt and jeans combination. Adding some leather slip-ons that are not sneakers, a cross body bag and a nice pair of sun glasses takes this look from ‘casual’ to ‘I just throw on stuff that happens to all work together’ in my opinion. I hope you like this look and I also hope that you meet some lovely new fellow parents this start of the new school year.
Thank you so much for reading!

It is hard to miss a new trend these days and it is almost impossible to miss that bomber jackets are all the rage at the moment. I can’t say all new trends deserve to be adopted but the ‘bomber jacket’ trend is one that appeals to me wholeheartedly. It is such an easy piece of clothing to wear and lends itself so effortlessly to all kinds of looks. I love wearing them with sneakers for an ‘in-trend’ casual look and with a pencil dress and heels for an ‘in-trend’ evening look. Here, I have paired my bomber jacket with capri pants and a peplum top for an ‘in-trend’ holiday look.
I am on vacation and eating my favorite foods is an official pass time! Most days I wake up and start to plan a list of what ‘gastronomical delights’ I will indulge in today (unfortunately, as we all know all gastronomical indulgences should not be indulged in on the same day). My dominant sweet tooth, as always, reigns over my taste buds and sweet things are on the top of my list. I thoroughly enjoy eating frozen yogurt and I am a huge fan of ‘Yogurt Land’. All those lovely flavours and toppings – what’s there not to love. If anyone from ‘Yogurt Land’ happens to read this blog – great job and love your stuff! As I was eating some yogurt when I took these pictures, I thought I would include them in my post.
Thanks you so much for visiting and reading my blog.
